Restoration

Why Restore Your Classic Car?

Restoration of a classic car is an important investment in the longevity of the marque. Quality restorative work on these old cars prevents their loss to time and decay. Museum style collectors, as well as single car classic owners are part of the restoration process. Without them, all of the long and proud heritage of these old cars would be for nothing. These cars would simply disappear from the auto landscape and our younger generations would not have the pleasure of driving these wonderful old cars or helping to preserve our automotive history.

Restoration is sometimes spurred by a owner’s sentimental attachment to a particular make and model. Perhaps, they knew someone who owned an inspirational classic or they undertake restorations on cars they’ve always hoped to own. Road worthiness and driving safety are also important reasons for correctly restoring your car.

High quality restorations only increase the value of these cars. They are a good investment, continuing to go up in value with each passing year. A beautifully finished classic is also a liquid asset, if you need to turn it for cash. There will always be a willing buyer waiting to give your well restored car a new home.

Classic cars are FUN – a great conversation starter. You can do resto-mod work to build them with performance features – for racing or you can restore them to their original showroom quality. They are great fun for cruise nights and car club touring. If you enjoy showing your cars, a top end restoration may give your car entry to concours presentations.

Classic cars should be thought of as an art form. Responsible art work owners always invest in restorative work to preserve the art not only for the future, but also for their personal joy and satisfaction.

Blog GT Hawk Glam Shot

There’s nothing like the gleam of beautiful paint shining from the graceful curves of a classic. Bright silvery chrome showing the wheels, body trim, bumpers to perfection and the deep modulated purr of a well tuned, restored engine….to a classic car owner, these attributes are priceless!

Invest in your classic, make it everything you’ve ever wanted. Bez Auto Alchemy shares your vintage car passion, let them help you restore your sweet ride. They are in the business of turning your automotive dreams into reality!

I have owned a 1953 Studebaker Commander Starliner Hardtop convertible since. It has been worked on by a few mechanics over the years, with varying degrees of success. I am considering having it restored. I need a realistic estimate on the costs involved. The car seems like a good restorable car.
I also want to incorporate some upgrades with the brakes [Turner}, frame rigidity, and NVH [noise vibration and harshness]. I realize this sounds like “pie in the sky’, but I have to start somewhere.
I really would appreciate your opinion on a project like this.
    Please advise.
    Joe Papai

Testimonials

Raymond Loewy’s Personal 1976 Avanti
Brad Bez of Auto-Alchemy did a great job repairing Mr. Loewy’s last Avanti. We wanted to keep it as original as possible. From his engine expertise to his excellent body and interior restorations, his craftsmanship far exceeded my expectations. Along with his competitive rates, I’m most happy to recommend his services. Many thanks to Lew Schucart, Editor of Avanti Magazine, for introducing me to Mr. Bez.
