Thom’s always been a Studebaker man.
Here’s the lineup of family Studes – down on the farm.
I stripped the Avanti body, repaired the rusty A pillars, spliced in a new cowl section and repainted the car in this good looking blue. Thom and I removed the old tired Stude engine, replacing it with a new Chevy 350 crate engine. We added a new intake manifold, carburetor and distributor and replaced the heater core. We also removed the air pump and computer from the new engine.
