289 Engine Rebuild – (not an original R series) – rebuilt to custom R2 specs.  Installed ST5 Edelbrock cam with new lifters. Ported the heads, reworked the combustion chambers, added an R series aluminum cam drive gear.  Machined, squared the block deck. The deck was not true from front to back, from sided to side. This evens the compression out from cylinder to cylinder. Installed new valve springs and bronze valve guides.  This engine will be super charged.
